In compliance with Canadian legislative requirements aimed at addressing forced labour and child labour in supply chains, Gamma North America, Inc. and Gamma Windows and Walls International Inc. are committed to ensuring ethical practices throughout our operations. This report details our current efforts, structure, policies, and future commitments regarding these critical issues.
Business Overview
▪ Company Structure: Gamma North America, Inc., is an entity incorporated in the U.S. and one of its subsidiaries Gamma Windows and Walls International Inc. is registered and operating in Canada with business number 84886 9384 RC0001. The group has 123 employees.
▪ Activities: Our business activities include design, assembly and install curtain walls for Canadian customers. However, for year 2024 the company has reduced its productions significantly and maintain only some close-out or warranty works. Strategic pullback is under way.
▪ Supply Chains: Our supply chain involves mostly local suppliers in Canada, with limited portion of raw materials were imported in the year, e.g. glasses from Spain.
Policies and Due Diligence Processes
Currently, Gamma does not have comprehensive policies specifically addressing forced labour and child labour, especially to the supply chain, however we do have policies in place assuring that our hirings in Canada consist with regulations. We are keeping monitoring the situations and won’t develop new policies or procedures before the company has decided to return and pursuing new contract of sales.
Risk Assessment and Management
The company has assessed and been monitoring risks associated with forced labour and child labour, and think it low, because the company has very limited production and supply activities during the year and always comply with regulations of staff hiring in its offices.
Measures Taken During the Previous Financial Year
▪ Policy Reviewing or Assessment: Current position of anti-forced labour and child labour policy has been reviewed and assessed.
▪ Supplier Outreach: Key suppliers were communicated, reviewed or assessed for their ethical labour practices.
▪ Employee Training: Key managers were trained or communicated for the management of such risks.
Conclusion
Gamma North America, Inc. and Gamma Windows and Walls International Inc. conduct ethical practices in all aspects of their operations.
